Cycles of Life with Nick Baker
Highland bicycling and wildlife walks with Nick Baker.
Nick Baker is not only an accomplished naturalist and TV presenter; he is also a passionate cyclist. Additionally, he is an advocate for cycling as a way of accessing the natural world. This programme offers three days of gentle cycling on private roads or well established trails (no public roads.) On the non-cycling days we will drive and walk to access places that we can’t go by bike. It is an active programme suitable for reasonably fit people of all ages.
We are blessed with many cycle routes through spectacular scenery and with a myriad of superb wildlife opportunities around Aigas. We will provide you with a bicycle fitted to you and suitable for the terrain. The pace will be slow and there will be regular stops to examine wildlife and to enjoy the landscape. Where possible, a support vehicle will be nearby to help out if anyone is struggling.
- Three days with good cycles in Highland habitats & landscapes.
- Good walks too. Lowland leg stretches to access special areas around Aigas.
- Leadership from Nick & support from Aigas Rangers throughout.
- We provide you with a fitting bicycle appropriate for the terrain.
Limited to only twelve guests, this a new and unique programme, which is bound to be popular. Book early to avoid disappointment.
“Such a superb week with a huge variety of wildlife, expert guides and very attentive staff. One happy customer!” Jane Havercroft
